Testing, testing, testing

Now, I’m testing to see if I can e-mail my blog postings to the blog.  We’ll see.

Comprehensive Immigration Reform

Welcome to the Nottingham Law Blog. We're glad you found us.

This first post is to announce that the United States Senate has introduced a bill addressing Comprehensive Immigration Reform (or "CIR"). It is just the shell of a bill, with nothing substantive, but is sufficient to demonstrate that the Senate is serious about prioritizing immigration reform. The United States has for years been inviting foreign nationals to enter the country illegally, basically turning a blind eye to those entereing illegally, or those overstaying after entering legally, only more recently to start deporting and removing otherwise law-abiding fathers, mothers and children of residents and citizens.

Senate Bill 9 - S9 - is an indication by our federal government that it is serious and will work toward the reform needed correct the massive immigration injustices experienced by immigrants and citizens alike.

Get moving Senate!
